Fifteen light-years

With its usual passion and enthusiasm, the Quasar saxophone quartet presents a fifteenth season filled with discoveries and premieres. Our four virtuosi invite you to join them in an acoustic format or with electronics, by themselves or with distinguished guests.
From Tremblay to Zappa, plugged or unplugged, high contrasts are expected!

Faithful servant to the music composed in Quebec and Canada, Quasar is also open to the world at large. Its involvement in electronic music will allow it to greet international composers in a workshop that will lead to a spring event named Les Mutations dynamiques .

Tireless globe-trotter, Quasar will meet the Arte saxophone quartet in December 2009 for three concerts in Switzerland. During the winter, Quasar will play eight concerts across Canada with a repertoire of new works worthy of the Olympics!
